Wow, so I’m almost down to single digits of days before I leave! In fact I’ve actually only got another 6 days in Wellington- less than a week! I’m heading to the wedding of my friends Chris and Kelly in Napier- on the East Coast of the North Island from Thursday to Sunday. Just a quick post to say what you’ve already probably noticed if you’re at the site! I’ve done a refresh of the look of the page. Largely aesthetic changes, focussing on the picture and colours.

I hope you like the green on the sides – that’s what I’ll be seeing a lot of in the next two years- it’s the olive green colour of my bike!

I’ve got some other minor changes in mind before I leave, but let me know what you think about it..

Well, the trip is getting very close now! 7 weeks till I’m in Barcelona- only 19 days left in the office, which will go very quickly. Lots of little things to sort out, here’s a bit of an update.

I did a bit of a trial pack today- getting all my gear out on my bed to weigh it and see what I’m taking..

I hung my GoPro from my wardrobe rail and took a photo every second, then combined them at 30fps to make the following video!

Wow, so time’s flying now! In 3 months time I’ll be cycling out of Barcelona, heading towards France. It’s easy to say, but when I actually contemplate on what that means- in terms of how close it is till I leave, and the actual act of cycling for two years, it can wake you up in cold sweats! (The cold sweats have only happened once so far!)
So, onto the update!
