Summary Post: France (Northern)

I was in back in France for 2 weeks, this time in the Northern part. To see the Southern one see this post.  Otherwise read on to find out about my experiences in Northern France!

Here it is by the numbers!

• Days in country: 17
• Days riding: 11
• Kilometres ridden: 1030km
• Running total (nearest 10km): 5600km
• Longest day: 156km (new record for the trip)
• Accom cost: ~185 Euro (Highish because of the long time I was there rather than expensive accommodation)
• Other costs: ~380 Euro (Over half of this was due to train and ferry tickets!)
• Maximum speed- 321km/h on the TGV!
• Favourite food/drink: Croque-monsieur and coffee in a Parisian cafe.
• 9 nights in campgrounds,  4 night in a hostel, 2 with a friend/colleague and 1 Warmshowers.
• Favourite photo: Sunset at Omaha Beach.
