Summary Post: Spain

I’m going to try and do some summary posts about each country I’ve passed through with some numbers etc. Here’s the first- Spain.

I got this idea from Emma and Justin at Rolling Tales, giving a bit of a summary of each country. I’ve taken my sweet time starting!

This one’s a bit difficult in terms of costs, as it included some of the setup costs like buying a cooker etc. Distances aren’t exact due to border crossings part-way through a day. If a day was mainly in one country it’s counted for that one.

• Days riding: 4
• Kilometres ridden: 202 km
• Accom cost: ~90 Euro
• Other costs: ~200 Euro
• Cost of one tube of sunscreen: 22 Euro!!!
• Flats: 0
• Favourite food/drink: Sangria while watching the sunset on the Mediterranean!
• 4 nights in campgrounds,  2 nights in a hostel and 1 night with Warmshowers hosts.
• Favourite photo: Wet street in Girona.
